The HTML5+ standard has been developed as a professional framework specifically aimed at supporting developers. The China Industry Alliance for HTML5 is a prominent industry organization dedicated to serving the needs of developers within the HTML ecosystem. On May 28, 2013, the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) released the HTML5.1 working draft; however, the existing HTML5 standards have not fully addressed developer requirements, compounded by the multitude of browser-specific extensions that hinder seamless development.

In response to these challenges, under the guidance of W3C China, leading industry vendors formed the HTML5 China Industry Alliance and introduced the HTML5+ specification. This initiative seeks to standardize browser extensions and provide developers with more robust support, facilitating a more unified and efficient development process.

The vision of the HTML5+ specification is to enhance current standards based on developer needs, offering expanded functionalities and performance improvements. Its goal is to simplify the development of cross-platform applications that deliver performance and capabilities close to native applications.

The HTML5 China Industry Alliance, known as the "HTML5+ Alliance," was established by key industry players with the aim of advancing commercial deployment of HTML5 and better serving HTML5 developers. The alliance focuses on integrating industry resources to create a comprehensive ecosystem centered around HTML5 development, leveraging collaborative efforts across the supply chain to support developer success.
